I was the exact same way, and still am, as a girl: I prefer jeans over dresses, pony tails over hair styles, and sneakers rather than high heels. I too only wanted boys since I was a tomboy and thought I could only relate to boys. My firstborn was a boy and my third baby was a boy, but my second was a girl. I'll admit I was a little disappointed, but I couldn't love this little girl more! Even though she does love princesses and dressing up, she is like me in so many ways. She likes to play sports, and plays trucks with her brothers, even if she prefers to do it while wearing sparkly nail polish.

I love your conclusion about what you could teach your daughter. All of those things are WAY more important in life. Keep up the great work, mama! A parent of girls, a boy mom, a young mom... sooo many things to worry about! At least we have support :)Moms Gone Crazyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11931762439304162745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3381326858872085764.post-36942879269305206442014-01-14T12:38:31.598-06:002014-01-14T12:38:31.598-06:00I completely hear you!
