Basic Ingredients:
7-8 Whole Carrots (more or less depending on family size)Olive Oil
Sea Salt
Directions:
Peel and chop carrots into sticks. Toss carrots in olive oil. Lay flat on a baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt.Bake at 425 degrees for a half-hour or until carrots are tender. Optional: Broil for a few minutes to gain crispiness.
Serve with dipping sauce of your choice. We recommend hummus, ketchup, ranch, blue cheese.
Optional flavorings:
You can toss the carrots with any of the following to add extra flavor to your "fries" before baking.
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Smoke Paprika
Cumin
Italian Seasoning

ReplyDeleteThese look delicious! We eat a lot of carrots...but usually raw. This is a great way to change it up:) I might add a little of the moroccan seasoning I got too!
