Oh Baby Baby! I just gave birth to our third child, Baby L. on 11/1 and in honor of her birth, I have teamed up with Buddy Doo's Adventure-Roos & Little Angel on a Mission to feature some of our absolute must-have baby & mama items!

About (source: www.twotara.com):

twotara (too-tahr-uh)

Named after the TUATARA which is a chameleon-like lizard - native to New Zealand - that changes colors over time.
Since our garments also "change colors" to best serve your changing needs, we thought the name is a perfect fit. Change the TUA to TWO - since all of our garments are two-in-one-and our name, and our philosophy were born!

Twotara, Inc. was born out of the frustration of buying uninspired gender neutral gifts. With 40% of expectant parents not learning the sex of the baby until birth--the Twotara clothing line has your baby covered! This premier product line is redefining the newborn, gender neutral market with garments that are pink on one side, blue on the other.
Twotara, headquartered in Chicago, has launched an innovative line of garments and accessories by offering expectant moms an alternative to green and yellow. We have designed whimsical, yet sophisticated outfits that are gender specific…and right every time!
Pink or Blue... ready for you!

S.M.M. Review

I was really excited to find out about and get the chance to review Twotara!  With our first baby, Big N., we kept the gender a secret until birth and the worst part was the limited styles of gender neutral clothes that were all yellow and green! With baby #2, Savy Daddy wanted to know, so I let him find out, but I still wanted the surprise.  So, AGAIN, I washed all those green and yellow clothes.  I always wondered how our society got to blue is for boys and pink is for girls, but green, yellow and orange are gender neutral?!  Why can't we all wear any colors we want?! This is why I love Twotara! They have come up with the perfect solution for this dilemma! A whole line of clothes that can be for a girl or boy, or maybe even both if you have twins or keep them for other babies.

For review, we were sent the 0-3 romper. Immediately, I loved the style and design of it.  It has cute bubbles/circles on the arms and horizontal stripes on the body.  It is a full snap up design (from ankles to neck) and features soft and lightweight material and with a reinforced trim.  One of my favorite parts of the style are the cute little pockets on the baby's bottom!  I mean what's cuter than a baby with pockets?!
Baby L. was 8lbs when she came home from the hospital, so the size was perfect for her.  It has continued to fit her perfectly as she has grown from 8lbs to 9lbs.  I anticipate, this will easily fit her through the full 3 months without a problem.
Also, I have washed it a ton of times and I swear it didn't fade or shrink at all!
I can honestly say it is one of our favorite items for her to wear and I am a little sad that she is going to outgrow it and we possible won't have another baby to wear it.
I am really excited that I found this line as I will definitely look to purchase more for future baby shower gifts!
