About Delta Children (source: www.deltachildren.com)

In 1954, Louis Shamie became a first-time parent to his precious son Sam. Finding himself inspired by the new wonders of parenting, Louis founded Delta Children's Products which became incorporated in 1967. Since its inception, Delta Childrens Products has strived to offer the finest quality baby products for all families a concept that began at the very beginning with the desire to help new parents choose the most fundamental of products for their new babies.
Then in 1984, his first grandchild was born and Louis took his vision a step further. Louis presented his crib concept to a patent clerk without the aid of tools, hooks or screws. Within three minutes a brilliantly conceived baby crib stood fully assembled in the center of the Washington US Patent office. The patent clerk, a father himself, was quite impressed and recognized the revolutionary difference that the product before him could offer. Louis left his office that afternoon with a patent in hand.
From that day forward, Louis made a commitment to design children's furniture for families who sought stylish design that encompassed quality, safety and the ease that every family could afford and trust.
Today, Delta is trusted by millions of families worldwide. Delta continues to be the industry leader in manufacturing cribs and providing safe, high-quality and budget-friendly children's furniture for baby's comfort and your peace of mind.
Delta Children's Products is led by Louis Shamie's two sons, Sam and Joseph Shamie.

S.M.M. Review

I received the Delta Alpha Elite Stroller in Mix It Up - Teal design.  Below are some details of the stroller.

I know that when most people think of what they need for a new baby, they don't think to when that baby is more than a few months old.  But, it's definitely important to include items on your registry that are good for when the baby is older.  This includes a stroller that is sturdy & lightweight for easy trips out to the store, zoo, etc.
My favorite features:
Assembly - This was so easy!  It came practically fully assembled and all I had to do was pop on a few wheels, snap in the canopy, and add the cup holder where I wanted it.
Operation - This stroller is really easy to unfold/fold up.  It has a few locking mechanisms that you need to use simultaneously, but it folds up quickly and effortlessly. The only thing I did notice is that the mechanism on the back of the stroller is accordion like and made of metal, so it could pinch a finger if left unattended. Not something to worry about but just a note.
Design - The stroller is not made for your newborn or very young infant, however it's perfect for when your baby is 4+ months old. They will love the idea of being able to see where they are going and fit perfectly in the stroller.
Safety - The stroller features the all important five-point harness.  The harness is easy adjusted for your little one's height and features easy to use buckles and soft shoulder strap covers. Also, the wheels feature locks that hold the stroller steady and are easy to turn off/on with your foot.
Style - I really love the colors/pattern of this stroller!  It's features a teal, black, yellow and purple pattern that is attractive, yet also gender neutral.  The seat features teal and black stripes that are outlined in yellow piping.
Durability - Since it was pretty cold out when this stroller arrived, we didn't get a chance to use it outside too much, but I can attest that it is definitely durable.  We kept it around our house for a few weeks and my two and four year old jumped all over it.  The 2 year old even loved climbing in and out of it all by herself 100 times a day and watching her favorite shows while sitting in it.
Comfort-ability - Well, I can't personally sit in it, but I can attest that both my kids were fighting over it!  It was like their little recliner in our family room. Also the handles feature a nice soft grip for the parents.
Adjustability - Not only does the harness easily adjust, but the seat back also reclines easily with just one hand. Also, it features a canopy that is easily adjusted for sun/wind/rain.
Storage - For a lightweight stroller, this thing has some really nice storage capacity! It features a nice, deep storage area below the seat, as well as a large pocket behind the seat and a PARENT CUP HOLDER! Yes, that's in all caps, because it's important!
On the Go - It folds up into a really nice and neat size and easily fits in the trunk of our small sedan.
Peek-A-Boo Canopy - I just love this feature!  In some of my strollers the "window" is so small, it should be called a peephole (ya know, like the ones on front doors). On this stroller, it's a really nice size and I can actually see what my child is doing! Plus, I can cover it up if I'm not interested or want to keep out the sun.
Overall, I really love the features of this stroller.  It's lightweight, durable, user-friendly, stylish and affordable.  I definitely recommend that any new/current parent that needs a stroller for quick trips to the store look into investing in this! I know we will be using it frequently (once it's over freezing outside!)
