Nizo Wear Nursing Bra! Supportive, Comfortable & Affordable! #nursingmom #breastfeeding

*Disclosure: I was sent the product(s) featured in this post in exchange for this review. The opinions are 100% my own.

When I first became a mom, I had no idea how much I would rely on a good nursing bra.  With Savy Preschooler and Savy Toddler, I struggled to find one that was supportive, yet comfortable and more importantly affordable! It's like the companies that make them know nothing about being a nursing mother, except that we NEED them. Savy Baby is the first baby I have that I haven't had to exclusively pump for and I am really loving our nursing relationship.  However, all of those nursing bras that "worked" for exclusively pumping do not work as well for actual nursing. I was desperate, until recently when I was provided the Nizo Wear Serenity Nursing Bra for review.

I chose the Serenity model because I wanted something that was comfortable and supportive that I could wear every day.
I chose a size L in black.  Immediately upon receiving this bra, I could tell that I was going to love it.  First off the fabric is really soft, yet sturdy (supportive).  The design is really nice because it's a cross between a nursing bra and a sports bra, as it slips on over your head.  No more struggling with those uncomfortable and hard to reach hook and loop closures in the back! The bra has two hidden pockets that hold removable pads where you can also put cold/warm compression packs.  The pads are  really nice because as all nursing moms know, after nursing, your nipples tend to protude out for a little bit.
The next day I tried on the bra and instantly fell in love! It was so comfortable and supportive.  It gave my chest a nice lift without any uncomfortable underwire or pinching straps like my other bras.  The design is made with a nursing mom is mind as it is really easy to unclip/clip one-handed for easy nursing access and fits perfect under any top.  After years of agony, this bra was my first true nursing bra love.  I honestly wore it all day and then forgot I even had it on at night because I slept in it without realizing.  Normally, I change into a sleeping nursing bra at the end of the work day, but with this bra, I can wear it all day and night if I want to.  It's just that nice and comfortable.
I know, I know, I have said this bra is comfortable like a million times already, but honestly I am super picky about clothes and this is one of the most comfortable clothing items I've ever owned!
Overall, I absolutely love this nursing bra!  Even when I am done nursing, I will continue to wear it.  I highly recommend this for any new, nursing or expectant mom in your life!

About Nizo Wear (source:
Nizo Wear nursing bras were inspired by the real-life experience of the company’s founder, Nicole Zoellner. When Nicole became pregnant with her son, she eagerly read all the materials her doctor had given her about the benefits of breastfeeding. She happily anticipated the feelings of serenity and bonding that nursing promises mother and infant.

Then her baby arrived, and Nicole discovered something distressing: Sometimes, breastfeeding hurts. For her, it was downright agonizing.

After a lot of searching for the best advice Nicole could find was to use warm compresses before nursing and cold compresses afterwards. But nobody could give her any tips for how to make the whole thing practical!

How do you keep it from shifting around inside your bra? Where are you supposed to get the extra pair of hands to hold everything in place while you’re doing the ten million other things new mothers have to do? Could this feel any more awkward and uncomfortable?

So, Nicole set out to do for other nursing moms what no-one had been able to do for her: provide a practical, comfortable way to get relief from the soreness breastfeeding mothers often experience.

Her design was patented, and Nizo Wear was born.
