Pretty Little Princess Hair Accessories Review & Giveaway!

As a mom with a little girl born with a full head of hair I have been exploring my way through the exciting and sometimes challenging world of hair accessories for nearly a year.  During my exploration, I have tried accessories from big brand companies and small mommy run "shops". I have to admit that the personal touches that go along with the small mom "shops" (in quotes because I think it really captures the image, although most do not have a true storefront) really have won me over.  One of my absolute favorites is Pretty Little Princess.   This "shop" is run by a wonderful mom whom I have known for many years, dating back to our high school years together.  Pretty Little Princess specializes in handmade, hand-sewn hair bows, headbands and hair clips for little girls.  She offers a large selection of ready-made bows and also offers a wonderful custom service.  The turnaround time is great for a homemade item, at just 5 days.

For my review, Michelle (owner and creator) was kind enough to send me an assortment of bows and clips.  As I mentioned previously, my little girl has a lot of hair and I have entered the battle of keeping it out of her eyes, while also making her look cute and stylish. Upon receipt, I already love the assortment, as they all can be used for themed outfits, as well as every day wear.  Everything appeared to be very durable as I know my little girl will yank them out a time or ten!  I also noted that the bows and clips had a piece of foam on them, which I found to help with gripping the hair and reducing slippage when they were on.  As we all know, it's pretty difficult to find clips that actually stay on and I can honestly say that these handled really well.  My daughter is a very active almost one year old (running and climbing all over) and I was impressed with how they stayed.  I also love how affordable these are!  Many of her clips/bows range from $2-$5 each!  Overall, I really enjoyed the quality, style, and affordability of these hair accessories and would recommend them to any mom of little girls! I have included a few pictures of the bows, headbands and clips I received.
