Brooklyn Popcorn started out as an idea tossed around by friends who are native New Yorkers. Through a love of popcorn and a yearning for a fast, fresh and delicious health food that had a twist of gourmet flavor added to it, Brooklyn Popcorn became what is the first gourmet popcorn truck in the world.
Being a huge fan of popcorn isn’t enough, however. It takes a desire to curb people’s appetite, appease their taste buds and give the masses something delicious and healthy that would melt in their mouth. Flavors like caramel and cheese, while very popular and mouth-watering, just weren’t enough. Nope, we just had to take it to the next level. Soon came BBQ, White Cheddar and Coconut Caramel, oh my! And so we brainstormed on what other scrumptious flavors we could bring to the table….or truck…and we now have over 16 delightful and lip-smacking flavors for you to munch on ‘till your heart is content.

S.M.M. Review

In our house, we love snacking, so I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to review Brooklyn Popcorn!
Since I live outside Chicago and we are known for our delicious popcorn mix, I decided that I would try about the Brooklyn Mix that they offer! I was intrigued as to what their signature mix would taste like and if I would love it just as much as our local famous Chicago mix.
My parents happened to be visiting when the popcorn arrived and immediately upon opening it everyone had to dig in and try it! It is so yummy! The Brooklyn Mix is a delicious combination of salty (White Cheddar Cheese) and sweet (Milk Chocolate Popcorn)! The kernels were a nice large size and the ration of cheddar to chocolate popcorn was perfect! I hate when a mix has an uneven ration, so my OCD was very happy! I mean, honestly, our two oldest kids, my parents and myself had to force ourselves to stop eating it! It was so addicting! As soon as Savy Daddy arrived home from work, we had him try it and he loved it too! Over the course of the next week (there was a lot of popcorn in there), we worked our way through the tin. We ate every last bit and I have even saved the tin for the kids to play with in their pretend kitchen!
Overall, this is some of the best popcorn I have ever tasted! It will definitely top my list of things to send people as gifts! I highly recommend you give it a try!
