As I have shared in the past, our family absolutely loves Daniel Tiger! This year, we were so excited to receive Daniel Tiger's Happy Holidays Gift Set! The gift set includes a really fun holiday themed Daniel Tiger DVD, as well as a Daniel Tiger figurine with movable head and arms! This is going to be a really fun gift for Savy Toddler to unwrap under the Christmas tree this year!

Arlington, Va. – PBS Distribution announced today it is releasing the new gift-set “DANIEL TIGER’S HAPPY HOLIDAYS DVD + FIGURINE” on November 4. This new gift-set from the popular PBS KIDS series offers two ways to interact with Daniel Tiger. The DVD “Daniel Tiger’s Happy Holidays” includes seven grr-ific tales, one of which, Snowflake Day!, is a special double episode. The gift-set also features a Daniel Tiger figurine with movable head and arms. Kids will love watching these fun-filled stories while playing with the Daniel Tiger figurine.
The first TV series inspired by the iconic, award-winning MISTER ROGERS’ NEIGHBORHOOD, DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD, from The Fred Rogers Company, stars 4-year-old Daniel Tiger, son of the original program’s Daniel Striped Tiger, who invites young viewers into his world, giving them a kid’s-eye view of his life. As they closely follow and share Daniel’s everyday adventures, preschoolers ages 2-4 and their families learn the fun and practical strategies and skills necessary for growing and learning. One of the key ingredients that sets the series apart is its groundbreaking use of catchy, musical strategies that reinforce each theme and that preschoolers and parents will both sing – and use – together in their daily lives. DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD, which debuted in September 2012, airs Monday-Friday on PBS KIDS (check local listings).

In addition to featuring the following seven stories, the DVD includes special features – printable activities and coloring pages as well as bonus live-action music videos, which interweave scenes from the show with footage of the show’s musical composers singing “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” and “You Are Special.”
