Daddy Scrubs Book Review and Giveaway!

I recently received a wonderful book and companion item for review from Daddy Scrubs.  The book is called "What Daddy Duck Loves" and it comes with it's very own Daddy Duck. Really fun and useful new dad gifts are often overlooked when a baby is born, so I love that this company is so dedicated to making sure the new daddy feels special too!

My review: 

When I first opened the package, I just loved how colorful the book is and the fun little Daddy Duck that comes with it!  My little girl "A" (13 months) is pretty obsessed with rubber duckies, so I knew she would love this!  Another thing I really liked about the book is that it is a nice glossy and strong board book. Both of my kids love books, but they are really hard on them and often I find that books just don't survive if they aren't sturdy like this one.  "A" was really drawn to the book, so we read it to her first and she really liked it!  She kept wanting us to turn the pages and read it as "Daddy Duck" and his ducklings had so much colorful fun!  Now that our son "N" is 3, a book really has to have a good story he can follow to go along with the pictures and this book delivers that too!  The story talks about all of the things that Daddy Duck loves to do with his ducklings and since "N" is head over heels in love with his daddy, the story was perfect for him!

Overall, our whole family really enjoyed this book.  We just love a children's book that has a heartwarming story, colorful/well-illustrated pictures, and can stand the test of time. Plus, the rubber ducky has become a permanent part of our bath time collection!
