While You Were Sleeping: A Goodnight Poem for My Children #sweetdreams #momlife

While you were sleeping, I cleaned up your toys, picked up a stray bottle and tried to make very little noise.

While you were sleeping, I washed and dried clothes and sewed up a hole in your favorite stuffed animal's nose.

While you were sleeping, I super glued a wheel on car and daddy put new batteries in your toy guitar.

While you were sleeping, we watched our favorite show and discussed things of the day that we came to know.

While you were sleeping, I ran out to get milk and bread and tried to remember every thing else I had in my head.

While you were sleeping, I tiptoed into your room for a goodnight kiss and admired you sleeping soundly in a beautiful bliss.

I gently covered you in a blanket, and tucked you in very tight and prayed that you sleep safely & soundly all through the night.

I love you to the moon and back!
Love, Mommy

  1. Aww I love this!! Thank you for sharing

  2. I know this sounds a somewhat odd inquiry, yet hold on for me, ideally this article will show you exactly how significant the regularly disregarded part of rest is to your general preparing progress.
