Is your little one reluctant to give fruits and veggies a try? Earth’s Best has put together an educational video about starting your baby on these two nutritious essentials:

Here are a few quick tips!
  • Parents who eat more fruits and vegetables often have kids who a) are less picky and b) consume more fruits and vegetables.
  • Don't pressure kids to eat. Studies show that parents who pressure their kids to eat actually get kids with higher levels of pickiness and kids who eat significantly fewer servings of fruits and vegetables.

Savy Mommy Experience:
As a parent, we know how busy life can be and although we would love to be able to surround our children with fresh vegetables at every meal and snack, sometimes we just need something quick and healthy.  That's were these awesome veggie purees from Earth's Best come in!  We love these because they are great for the kids and easy for a last minute meal, snack or on the go. We often carry one or two with us when we go somewhere, just in case.  Usually, we end up using them while our kids wait for a meal to come at a restaurant, stuck in traffic going to or from somewhere, or when we are somewhere the food options aren't nutritious or infant/toddler friendly (i.e. hotdogs).
