D.R.T. 2015 - Day #16: Valentine's Day Gifts on a Budget #valentinesday #budgetfriendly #randomthoughts #2015

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and this year we are on a pretty tight budget.  One of my favorite places to browse and shop for a holiday when on a budget is my local dollar store. Luckily I have two very reliable ones within a few minutes of my house. They have a pretty good assortment of stuff to choose from. Since my oldest goes to preschool, I have to get something to give his classmates (25 kids) that's not candy (restricted by the school thankfully).

Immediately upon entering the store, it was obvious I would be able to find the gifts for his classmates as well as a few small gifts for our kids.
I don't think that they need huge gifts on Valentine's Day, but I do like to get them each a little something to say "I love you!". The gifts I bought for the kids were little stuffed monkeys in three fun Valentine's Day colors. I plan on hanging them on their door handles for a fun surprise on Valentine's morning.
For Savy Preschooler's classroom, I was able to get 40 little boxes of Valentine's Day stickers as well as 32 Avengers Valentine cards and 40 little treat bags to put them in for a grand total of $4 (plus a little tax)! That's right, $4!
If you are also looking to shop on a budget for Valentine's Day, I highly recommend checking out your local dollar store! Tons of fun stuff for all of your loved ones!
